About us
The Carol Saunders Swim School is a small family business which has been established for 20 years.

Carol swam competitively at County & District levels until taking up swimming teaching. At the age of 18 she gained her teachers certificate and went on to Tutor status and Amateur Swimming Association Coach status. She opened her own swim school approximately 20 years ago after working for Leeds City Council and Selby Council.

Carol Saunders Swim School was opened initially at Sherburn High School, Leeds and now The Mount School, York with satellite pools also being used in the York area. Recently the swim school has been approved to run teacher training courses and continuing professional development courses.

Carol's qualifications include: ASA Tutor, ASA Coach, ASA Club Coach, ASA Advanced Teacher, ASA Aquafit, RLSS Bronze Medallion, RSA exercise to music.

Carol is a member of RLSS, Institute of Swimming & Swimming Teachers Association.

Carol Saunders in October 2010 formed a partnership with DW Sport to provide swimming lessons nationally in their prestigious centres.

The Swim School is managed by Naiomi Saunders.
